Notebook has gone haywire a couple of days ago and havent been abloe to use it since.

The laptop will startup fine, then freeze as soon as click on something. The cursor will stay on loading mode (blue circle) until I have to manually turn it off.

I ran windows defender, but it couldnt finish before freezing.
Malwarebytes cant even get started.

I have had Google chrome.exe bad image or dwm.exe or explorer.exe errors pop up.

If all else fails, I will have to re-install Vista, but was hoping for any other suggestions from you computer savvy people there.

Im running Home Vista btw.

turn it on, as its booting keep hitting F6 or F8 both, this should bring up the options screen (black and white text) from here choose safemode and try to run a more thorough virus scan from there, or do an image restore.

If F6 or F8 don't work, try other F keys, or if none of them have the dsired effect, when its half loading pull the power out and boot again, this should bring it up.

Sorry, this is a no go.

I ran in safemode and then tried to run a malwarbytes scan, but it froze at the 6 minute mark (suspiciously at Chrome user data/history), I had to hold the power button down to exit.

Did a system restore in safemode, I chose a restore point 2 weeks back.

It finally restarted, but it isnt booting. It has been stuck on the pulsating bar that usually occurs at start up for the past hour.

Take it to any hole in the wall computer store and get them to install Windows 7 Ultimate. It should cost around 25K.
