My Granddad has just learnt to start uploading them online. 89 and still going strong. The clothing, the seemingly innocent age of personalities, the empty roads, it seems all so surreal.

I do love looking back to the great-great generations to see how we've changed.

These are mainly of my great and great great granddads in the navy. Anyone else got come cool photos?

Oh and I just made the cover of the song to make it interesting. Lost my voice tuning software though...

where's the shot of grandpa leaning out of a gangster car's suicide door with a tommy gun?

and one of his 'partners' slumped over with a belly full of a copper's lead... life on the mean streets was no picnic, but did he make sure to get the basket? Shocked

Hah if only. No he has simply learnt to upload them. I then stole them and made the video and the song myself. I don't think my Granddad can sing in harmony with himself.

It's funny to see him use a computer; his hands are so huge, he can't rest it on the mouse or it will click the buttons down without him knowing so he gets confused.

I'd love to join the navy if there weren't so many gay connotations about it in the modern day. I have enough trouble convincing people I'm straight as it is.

Cool photos. I have a whole box of old family photos at my aunt's house. I need to rescue them and scan them before they get lost. A slide show is a good idea.

I figured a slide show is a way that people can watch it without being in such a scenario as 'and this is when we went to the beach! and this is when we went to the OTHER beach, which was nice but not as nice as the first beach. Of course, the first beach wasn't the first photo, the first beach comes later, because, the funny thing is, we FORGOT to take phot- oh this is the first beach, by the way. As you can see, it's much nicer than the other two beaches, although technically the other two are one, long beach, just separated by a pier or two, which is why they are of similar quality I suppose. Now this is a photo of me at the first beach, Oo we should delete this'

'oh no dont delete it'

'ok, well anyway this is the FOURTH beach, which is Barbara's favourite, but not mine, there were too many seagulls, but a lot less people. I find the amount of people is a sign that it's a GOOD beach, though. Especially in a location like this. Now, If I went to Papua new guinea, beach spotting would need an entirely different technique, since the population is somewhat low anyway. However I'm not even sure if Papua has any good beaches, I never did the research.'

etc

Very Happy Thank goodness facebook has rescued us from the days of photo albums.

I was on a date with a guy once who decided I wanted to see all 450 vacation pictures he had stored on his blackberry. "This is me at the swim-up bar. That's me again at the swim-up bar. Here's a picture of me playing volleyball next to the swim-up bar..."

Substitute "bed" for "date" and it becomes even more annoying.
