|
|
Hello, Can anyone suggest some trustworthy, reliable recruitment agencies that recruit teachers for schools in Busan (Pusan) city?
What is the best way to verify if a recruitment agency has a good reputation?
Thanks,
Steve |

| Kim n Joe? I've heard mixed reports on RBI. Or you could approach Epik direct, for a public school position. |

| I am using Welcome Recruit. So far they have been great to me. Whether everything is the way the say it is when I get there may be a different story. LOL They have answered all my questions, been very prompt and so far so good. You can check out their website. welcomercruit.com I have been working with someone named Ji-un. I dont think there is a real way to know who is credible and who isn't until you start working with them. You can usually tell after a few interactions who just wants to place you anywhere and who actually cares about finding you the best position based on your needs and not their own |

| I worked for ESS Language Institute in Busan. They are not a chain, but you might do a search for them and see if they are hiring. Not a bad place to work. |

Thanks for your help. So I guess there are two questions:
1) Anyone know any good recruitment agencies?
2) Anyone know any good employers? |

| I also recommend, WELCOME RECRUIT...very professional and honest...worked with them when I was in Busan, but now I'm in Seoul at a university. The owner is a gyopo, so they speak great English and understand your situation. |

For a different opinion about this school see this thread.

In it many former ESS teachers urged job hunters to be very wary of this hagwon. |

Kim & Joe are hit and miss....
ESS to be avoided like the plague...ESS Jr. more palatable, but if you want work with kids in the area; better deals to be found.
There was a charlatan Korean-American fellow with various aliases in the area a while back who usually represented himself as SK Recruiting--another one to avoid like you-know-what! He has probably skipped town already though.... |
