I have been working at a tiny hagwon since December. Naturally my one year contract is up in December. How do I swing the year end tax settlement while not actually being here for the new year? I get the income tax deducted from my salary, but have never really thought about how I was going to do this (or anything with tax really).
Should I have them do some forms in advance, or just hope beyond hope that they mail me a check or what? I know that you should usually expect to get a refund with your Jan. paycheck, but is it possible to get earlier?
Thanks.
