Hey guys!
Chuseok is near and I want to get down to Okinawa to visit a friend before he deploys to Afghanistan. Does anyone know of some cheap airlines or websites where I could find some better prices? Flights right now are at around $700. Do you think the price might come down closer to Chuseok or go up?
Simply, there is no 'cheap' flight between Korea and Okinawa. It's either Asiana or JAL, and the fares are brutal for this less-traveled 2-hour flight route.
For mid-September, Asiana will charge around KRW 650k for a return (inclusive), which is roughly USD 540~550. Seems like that's the best you can get. (quote provided by Top Travel, I'm not an employee there)
