| I am going to be teaching at Cheonggok Elementary School starting September and I wanted to know if anyone has lived and/or been to Yeongtong in Yongin. What is the area like? I have a little but of a say of where I live in that area so I would love if someone can recommend a good area or apartment. Also, I'm in my early 20s and I wanted to know what was fun to do in that area during the day and night. |

| I lived there in 2002-2003. It was fun because it was a host city for the World Cup Games. Things are convenient, and you have lots to do withing walking distance. But like most Korean cities, it's crowded and noisy. |

| Yeongtong is in Suwon. It's one of my favorite parts of the city. There will be plenty for you to do, plenty of restaurants (including Western food) and nearby Now Bar and Tinpan for your foreigner nightlife. |

Down the street from Now Bar in Yeongtong. I can't remember exactly how to get there, since I was drunk last time I went there. . . it's a small dance club that usually has a few foreigners on late Friday nights/early Saturday mornings. |
