It think it took me about 3 weeks to get an alien card, and I think the limit that immigration states is 90 days. What I'm wondering is if it can be done in as little as a week.
I have a friend coming to teach, and if they can get their alien card in a week they will be able to join us for our chuseok vacation. Has anyone gotten theirs in that little time / is it possible?

Good luck with that.
I didn't even get my health check until over a week after I arrived. Then the Suwon immigration office was backlogged, so it took two weeks to get my ARC after submitting the application. They held my passport during those two weeks, so I couldn't exchange my traveler's checks, which made me quite broke until my school gave me my overtime pay in cash just a few days before I got my ARC. |
