Here is the easiest way to get your Diploma Apostilled.

Drive to Annapolis. Go to the County Court house in Church Circle with your original diploma. Ask them for a notarized, county certified copy. They will charge you $3.00 for each copy. (I suggest getting more than one) Then walk to the Secretary of State building. Go downhill on Main St. Turn left through an alley to get to Francis St. Pay $5.00 per copy for your apostille.

Some states do not require a "County Certification" on your diploma. Maryland does. The county certification must come from the same county the notary was certified in. So it is easy to just do it all in Annapolis by getting the Anne Arundell County Clerk to do it.

+1

My recruiter had no idea about the notary certification and I almost submitted bad documents to the Secretary of State.

I'm glad I saved someone from the headache I went through.
