Size matters. Just wondering about the various apartment sizes out ther. I live solo and my apartment is 20 pyung. Nice, nice and nicer. What about other people here in Korea? |

I have no idea about the size but it's a rather boxy loft style apartment. Pads like this are considered super funky in Toronto. I'm rather pleased. A tub would be nice vs the ol' Asian style shower but I can't complain. There's even an airconditioner (not actually tested it yet). |

Supposedly 40 pyeong, but about 8 of that is being used to store school supplies and at least another 6 is all balcony space. No roomies, though, and the biggest balcony doubles as the sole entry to an enclosed rootop area that's bigger than the apartment, so I'm pretty happy.

One pyeong is exactly a tenth of what I live in.
And it's enough for me and my plants thanks to large windows and a huge patio outside my relatively new rooftop apartment. |

From the estimates of what I can gather a pyeong is, I think my place is somewhere around 6-8 pyeong... with no windows (since I cover the one in the bathroom), located directly between my elementary school and hagwon, and it is the definition of a friggin' box. |

I feel ripped. I have 10 pyeoung and I'm in it with my wife! If we get so much as another remote control, I'm afraid that we will have nowhere to sleep. At lease our kitchen isn't attached to the room though! |
