My folks are coming in March for my wedding and I need to find a hotel that's in a good location in Seoul and will not cost a fortune like the brand name hotels (Hilton, Grand Hyatt etc) any suggestions? I've heard of a hotel in the Myeong Dong area.. but looking for other suggestions as well..

My parents stayed in this one when they came in april. They got a good deal with flight package on expedia but I think on it's own its not too expensive or at least not as much as the Hilton etc. It was really lovely inside, very posh for the price with nice big rooms, very clean with brand new tv and furnishings. Its not got much around it in the way of restaraunts and shops but its only a 5 min walk to either Chumngmuro station or Euljiro 3 sam-ga stations and central enough...

You usually can't book more than a couple weeks in advance, but try www.latestays.com

Love motels abound, and are often quite nice. Just don't tell your folks what they're used for.

Ya the parents might get the idea of what kind of hotel when they notice the free condoms by the bed and the first channel when you turn on the tv is the porn channel.

There are lots of reasonably priced Seoul hotels listed on Expedia.
