With access to only the Subway system and 12 hours, what are interesting sites to check out?

There's Incheon Chinatown at Incheon Station.
There's Anyang Art park at Gwanak Station.
Seoul Land at Seoul Grand Park Station.

any other suggestions?

I think on my last day I went to the phone company and cable company to cancel my service, and then I went to see my friend's punk rock band at Ye Olde Stomper's in Itaewon that night.

I enjoyed my last day of health care and went to a doctor and got lots of prescription medicine before coming back to America.

Yesterday was my last full day. I did nothing but nurse a hangover for most of it. Kind of a waste. I'll be back though. Not right away, but sometime.

On my last day in Seoul, I will celebrate. But that includes a very high scale Korean meal at one of the top restaurants, a jjimjilbang, a cycle along the Han river (it will be winter so this one I probably won't do), and then a walk through my neighborhood for the last time.

pack, weigh. unpack. pack, weigh, unpack. repeat that a couple more times and that pretty much sums up my last day in any country.

On my last day, I would go see a big shiny jet plane and say. "OMG, what does this mean? Wooooah. Full on double jet engine across the sky. " And then looking out the window at Korea, I'd see myself cry/laugh at the same time while having existential thoughts and feelings. Laughing

When I left Seoul in 2003, I spent the day before I left at my aunt's home. I wasn't happy over leaving in the first place and figured it would be nice to spend it with her since she's an elderly woman now.

I just chilled at her place and then my cousin drove me to a hotel where I could catch an airport bus.

Don't overemphasize your "final" day here (and I say this because you never know when you'll come back). It's not like the final day will all of a sudden have this deep imprint in your mind.

But if you insist on a spot, I'd go for a scenic view spot around the Han River.
