Hey, a friend needs to authenicate a letter of invitation to get a tourist visa for her boyfriend (from Pakistan or something like that, he needs this to get a visa).

How can she find a notary,or is there some easier way for her to authenticate the letter? She's having trouble finding answers. Thanks!

If anyone knows the whole process for getting this visa request completed, I'd love to hear the whole thing. Thanks!

I was just talking about that with a friend last week. So far as we know there's no place to get anything notarized in Korea. A person's home country should have a place for that. I recommend looking up the immigration home page in their country and clicking on the visa section. When I was going through my own visa process I looked there and found what I needed.

Good luck!

there ARE places to get things notarized in Korea, especially if the document you are trying to get notarized originated here. Near Seoul City Hall there are quite a few notary/translation offices. Just look for the 공증인 or 번역 signs.
