Im trying to help out my Canadian coworker with the new visa changes. Her 1st contract is expiring in November. To renew, what documents exactly does she need? There seems to be alot of conflicting info on renewals here. Is it possible (with the consent of our employer) that she can just renew this month (3 months before her ARC expires) to get in under the September and January deadlines? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

I read somewhere that in order to renew you need to be within 60 days of your visa expiring.

She can extend up to 60 days prior to her ARC expiry.

What does she specifically need - Call the immigration office that is responsible for your area and ask - be sure to get the name of the person who gives you the information so you know who to go to when you actually go in.
