| They can't be that much, can they? I know visa fees in the States can be quite pricy sometimes... but anyone know how much it costs the hagwons to get visas for teachers? |

Hagwons don't get visas for teachers and they have no costs involved in or associated with the visa application process.
They apply for the visa confirmation number from the immigration service in Korea. There is NO fee for this.
The "teacher" applies for and pays for their own visa at the Korean consulate in their home country or on their visa run (if it is a subsequent visa).
