If you take the 45-2 or 9000 bus to Seoul, you pass the place as you're leaving town, and just before the toll gate (it's on the right-hand side). At least I'm pretty sure it's the place, because it's called, "Drivers" something on all of the signs as you go down the road toward it.
I've also seen several road signs that direct you there off of main streets in bundang.
I have to go there to get a motorcycle license plate some day. |

I think the place Derrek is referring to is the Automobile Registry Office, which, according to my wife, does not issue driver's licenses.
I got my license just outside of Bundang in Yongin which would be convenient if you live near the outskirts of Bundang. It's about a 15 minute walk past the Yongin WalMart. Just keep going past the WalMart, past the Pizza Hut, the road curves to the right, go under the overpass and it's there on your right hand side.
Btw, it doesn't matter where you live, as I got my license there but live in Chungbuk-do. |
