So my partner and I are headed to Korea on September 1st but have a few weeks of not too much to do. We were thinking of going on a last minute trip to Cuba however we wondered if this would be present any problems-- in terms of korean immigration and everything. Will we have any troubles?

No. The only country that cares about Cuba in any way, shape, or form is the United States, and that's only for it's own citizens due to the embargo.

To make a long story short, my wife is from RSA and when we left America for Korea she skipped immigration in Seattle. No exit stamp from U.S.A. When we got to immigration at Incheon the Koreans didn't even notice. They are like half dead at the airport. I don't think they will care about your trip to 1956...uhm...i mean Cuba.

There is no immigration nor exit stamp when leaving the US.

The only country that cares about stops in Cuba is the US.

It is a non-issue in the rest of the world.

Maybe 20 or 30 years ago - Korea would have cared. But now they don't.
