I'll be moving there to teach at a public school in September, first timer. I know its a rural town that's about 50 minutes away from Masan by bus (worked this out using Naver, google translate, a Masan bus timetable, google maps and lots of patience) and there seems to be a few norebangs and bars/hofs. I didn't see any PC방on the google map search which I thought a little strange and has me worrying a little about internet connectivity there(even though I know South Korea is one of the best connected countries in the world).

Being in the sticks doesn't bother me, provided I can get into Masan or Busan for the weekends. I'll hopefully have a beefy laptop too for video editing and gaming. Just wondering how life there is though.
