I am starting out at a new job and my employer agreed to cancel my E2 before it expires. He said that he is doing it by fax and to just turn in my ARC when I go on my visa run. Is it really possible to do it by fax? I thought I had to go to immigration with him and get some crap stamped on my passport telling me to leave or something along with it. They've tricked me enough times in the past that I find anything they do to be questionable.
