So my fiancee and I had a job secured, lost it due to "paperwork", and now have several other offers. We want to get over to SK asap, but also don't want to get screwed again.

My main concern has to do with our documents, apostilled background checks, transcripts, notarized degree copies, etc. Maybe I'm missing the info on Daves, but what exactly happens once we send our docs over to our prospective employer? We don't want to go through the long process of getting them all notarized and apostilled again... Plus we'll be on our honeymoon this time next week. Very Happy

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. We are looking at a university position right now, looking at starting early sept, and have all our documents ready to go. We are also trying to get a position together.

Thanks again!

send copies/scans (not your notarized copies) of everything until you actually sign the contracts.

when the contracts are signed AND you have talked to previous teachers or current teaches at the school, send the contracts along with your documents by USPS priority mail.

Make sure they know when the documents are coming and make sure that you know approximately when you will be leaving.
