I have a contract that I am about to sign for a public school in Gimpo South Korea. The contract looks great and the foreign teacher that's leaving recommends the school but I've never actually had any communication with anyone from the school itself... should I make sure I speak to someone at the school before packing up and going over there?

Also, I have a TESOL certificate but this would be my first real gig, recommendations- private or public?

Thanks

Don't you have any questions for the school?

I'm surprised that the school hasn't spoken to you. They usually want to have an interview.
