hey guys, new to the forum and nice to meet you all.
I'm 25 y/o M, BA in Sociology, living in NY, and relatively no experience teaching.
I've been surfing the net and this is the best site connecting with peers who have been teaching overseas.
I want to get into teaching ESL because it is something I think I would excel in, and it would do be some good to try a life changing experience, opposed to the mundane 9-5 lifestyle i've been accustomed to.
I was wondering if anyone has used KGC (Korean Global Connections) as a recruiter. I spoke to Anna Jeon on the phone and she was very polite and courteous to my initial aspirations, but I couldn't really commit to anything yet because I would like to get a TEFL certificate and save some money before I eventually venture out east.
I'm a newb so, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this agency, or could recommend a good one as I pursue my goal of someday teaching English in Korea in the near future. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |
