is this stuff available here in the average pharmacy shop? no success in the ones i checked... i have a terrible gash from kitchen carelessness, went to the doctor and he gave me some ointment and oral antibiotics....i swear he also said something about surgery......?? but i know all i need is to regularly douse it in hydrgen peroxide and it will be healed in 48 hours. meanwhile it's looking redder and redder and more irritated and it hurts.... |

Sounds like he was simply trying to stitch you up thinking your cut is too deep to ignore, unless he was talking in the context of plastic surgery.
It's up to you, but if you're worried about having a scar, grab a 'Complex Cu-3' tissue regeneration ointment and Contractubex gel. They're pricey but the most effective. |

과산화물 is the more common spoken usage (but the above will be written on the bottle). |

I found some in Emart a while back. It was with the bandages. I decided to pick it up because I never remembered seeing it before. The only English on the entire bottle was "Hydrogen Peroxide".. it came in handy too! I cut myself pretty badly a few weeks later |

'과산화물' indicates any peroxide, not just H2O2.
A pharmacist would only assume you're looking for an antimicrobial and give you hydrogen peroxide even when you bring up the blanket term. Benzoyl peroxide for acne might as well be another '과산화물', but you wouldn't want that on your gash. |
