|
|
I have an interview tomorrow for a hagwon in Gimhae. My recruiter sprang the interview on me with very little notice but her description of the position seemed reasonable enough. My question is - are there any questions in particular I should be asking the director?
This will be my first interview, so I'd prefer to go in with a better idea of the information I need first.
I haven't been sent any draft contract yet (is that normal before a telephone interview?) - so I'll obviously need to see that before I agree to anything. But apart from asking to speak to other foreign teachers there, I'm not quite sure what I should be asking...
Any help would be massively appreciated!! |

ask to speak to one of the native speakers.... there should be no problem with that, if they're legit... and you can ask the recruiter for that as well...
they all seem to SAY they're stable, but it can be a coin toss.... best to get at least a vouch from someone else in your situation. |

Some typical questions could be what are your responsibilities outside of class (grading of tests/essays, making said tests, etc. A little bit is standard) and you could ask for a typical run-down of how the day goes (you get there at 2:00, so when is the first class, how many classes, how long are the classes?). Those are the big two for me. When you see the contract that will tell you a lot. |
