Is there a logical explanation to list everything by song, and not have it by artist? I think it's a lot easier to just think of an artist, and see all the songs he's done and pick them out, than it is to remember every single specific song title.

Just wondering if anyone has heard an explanation for this.

Allow me to get in the "it's Korea, it doesn't have to be logical! That's how they do things!" So no clown makes a lame joke.

Sometimes the 2nd book is sorted by artist. If that's not the case, you can search by artist with the remote. I don't know which button it is though.

Just the book is setup that way. You can always search by singer via the remote, or get the Noraebang Apps for IPhone/Android.

As for having the songs setup by name instead of artist, a lot of Korean songs have the same name.

For example, if you wanted to sing the song "Forever" and you are not sure about the artist who sings it, you would be flipping through the book for like 30-40 minutes. If its listed by song name, then you could simply go to "Forever" and see all the artists that sing that song and find the right one you are looking for.

Sorting by song name in a Noraebang book seems to me the most logical way to organize the songs. Especially when some Korean singers have the same names, or many of the songs have the same name. You group by song and then choose the artist if the songs have the same name.
