|
|
Just bought a new Samsung Galaxy U phone, but when I connect it to my Mac via usb no icon shows up on the desktop. Now I can't import any movie or music files to it. I have tried resetting the usb options but to no avail. Any help on how to solve this problem would be appreciated. |

When you plug it in, you'll get a notification at the top of your phone saying that the USB is connected. Pull that down and you'll get the option to mount the SD card. Go ahead and it will show up on your mac desktop/finder.
Don't forget to unmount before unplugging. PM me if that doesn't work. |

It's my pleasure. I remember thinking mine was defective too. |

Alternatively you can always load/unload things on and off the phone simply through the Micro SD slot. I've found this to be my preferred method transferring stuff with my Galaxy I know that's painfully obvious, but it's nice that us Android users have a lot of flexibility unlike a certain other smartphone where hear way too much about *ahem*... |
