Hello all,
So I've just moved to the Chilgok area of Daegu from the Dalseo-gu area. I'm working for the same company at a new branch. Before I moved here, I went on a three week vacation home and had to move out of my old apartment, so I left all my belongings with friends in Dalseo-gu.
So now, all of my furniture and belongings are still in Dalseo-gu. The school has promised to help me hire a truck to move my stuff but it's been three weeks and I keep getting 'soon, soon, we're very busy right now' from the two guys employed as handymen/fixers.
So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and hire a truck myself, but I have no idea how to go about it. My Korean is ok for getting around and shopping and suchlike, but I fear it's not good enough to explain to an ajoshi in a truck what I need done.
Can anyone give me the lowdown on how to hire a truck, any English speaking services in Daegu and any dangers I should look out for?
