From the U.K, Is it true that as i requested my CRB check 'signed' and 'stamped' by scotland, i do not need to have it notarized by a solicitor and can go straight to be apostiled?

Hey,
Yep if Disclosure Scotland signs+stamps it then you can send it straight off to the FCO  |

A question about the criminal record checks (better to ask here than make a new thread):
Apparently, I now need a FBI check to enter the country as opposed to a state check and the FBI site says that it could take 12 weeks. Has anybody gotten theirs earlier than that? Was it just luck or did you call your congressman or something like that? |
