Has anyone tried to access Nong Hyup from the US? I'm going to be home for a few months before I start my new contract, and wanted to be able to transfer money home from NH over the internet. I am worried, because I am unable to access my credit union's website from Korea, because they block IP's from Asia.
Cheers! |

I'm not in Korea now (looking for a new job), but I still have an account with them from my first public school job and I can access my account from here.
It's just a hassle setting everything up more than say KEB. You have to go to your branch, and ask if you can set up an online account, and they should be able to walk you through everything.
I was able to transfer money from here in the states to my Nonghyup account (had a credit card bill to pay) and I was able to check my account online from here.
But like I said, it is a real hassle to setup and make sure you are using a PC with windows explorer 6.0 |
