If you only want the fish that is ok.
If you want to tank tell me how you plan to take it away without making a mess. It is very heavy.

A tip for whomever's interested: you should bag the fish, empty the tank of water, bag the filter (keep it moist so you don't kill off the good bacteria and DO NOT clean the filter or substrate until after maybe a month of setting it back up whith the fish). Don't forget to use water conditioner (to get rid of chlorine/chloramines) when filling the tank up again.
I've had to move my fish a few times. One of the moves included a 6 hour drive so I kept them in a bucket instead of a bag. For short trips though, a fish bag should be fine. Just go to a pet shop with fish and ask for a bag (they might want to charge you but it won't be much). |
