My hard drive in my HP notebook appears to be on its last legs. It keeps making loud ginding noisees about 50% of the time when I boot up. When it does this it fails to find the OS. I have formatted the drive, but as I said it seems to be a physical problem as opposed to the data on the disk being corrupted.

Does anyone know of a place in Yongsan where I can get a new drive and also some sort of ball park figure for prices?

You can find them in Youngsan for sure...

You can also look in Techno-Mart at Gangbyeon on the green line in East Seoul.

Price will be comparable to back home, as long as you shop around.
