If Wifi becomes available practically everywhere, what's the point of having a 3G(or whatever its called) plan?

My co-worker that I just asked about this claims it is free for everyone.
But that could be a miscommunication. |

The current KT wifi spots are only for KT customers. Unless they're planning on making some major changes your coworker is wrong.
