Greets,
I plan on going to Taiwan during Chusock (sp?) to visit a friend. As an American citizen (yes I have a multi entry visa), do I need to get a visa to enter Taiwan?
And on a small side, any recommended airline so I can look for tickets? |

Unless you are in your first year of your (Korean) visa you will need to get a re-entry permit. Multi-entry privileges do NOT carry over into an extension or transfer.
(If you have extended or changed your status since your entry on your CURRENT visa you will need a re-entry permit). Get it at the airport (or check at the immigration office at the airport if you are not sure).
You do NOT need a visa to enter Taiwan (stamp on arrival for tourism purposes).
Try EVA air or China Air (NOT Air China) for cheap seats.
