So I was talking with a friend in Toronto using my new magic jack (I have skype too but magic jack is awesome!) and she asked for my cell number and texted me to see if it worked. It did so I texted her back and she got it no problem. I see that it uses "002" when I text her back so I was wondering if anyone has a ballpark idea of how much each intl. text costs? 500 won or more a text? I'm just curious as I don't plan on doing a LOT of intl. texting, but a few here and there if it's not TOO much. If it's like 1000 won a text then I think won't at all. |

Skype lets you text at about 100W/text. Not bad. |

Yeah I have skype but I use that for video calls to the parents. My question was the cost using a cellphone, that's all. |

The cost for both SK and KT is 100 won per message. I'm not sure about LG, but I imagine the price is similar, if not the same. The 100 won price is for standard SMS messages (less than 90 English characters). If you're sending long messages or attaching pictures (MMS) the price can go as high as 600 won. |

Ok I guess I thought it would be much higher than that since it is an international text. Anyway 100 sounds fine if that is really the case.
Thanks |
