Is it possible to get a moving taxi here?like a bigger van taxi that i could call or even 1 small taxi. I am moving 1 subway stop away and got about 4 boxes and 3 suitcases. Nothing that i feel is worth 70,000 won to get a moving company to move. If anyone has any information let me know.
Thanks |

I did something similar (with a bit more stuff) and rented a pick-up truck and driver for 20,000. They don't help move anything but they'll transport your stuff. Ask a Korean about it (I did this two years ago and my Korean friend helped me but I don't have any of that info now). |

im moving tomorrow and i have a ton of stuff. didnt even think it would be that much.
however, i will be ordering a taxi van to come to my house and then go to the new place. if the space is not enough, ill get a smaller cab additionally.
you can order those cabs by calling them. they will charge an extra 1.000 kwon, if the meter stops below 10.000 kwon. my kfriends told me you can even pay them a little extra and they will help you carrying the stuff, too. |
