I've been teaching afterschool classes for about a year now at a girls' middle school. While I open a beginner and advanced class, a total of about 5 or 6 students sign up every time, so the classes are just combined into a mixed level class.

I'm looking for advice on what to teach to keep my advanced students interested. I have one girl who really wants to learn and be challenged, but she's very advanced and while she participates in lower level stuff, I know I'm doing her a disservice. Any advice? I don't think talking to my school will help because if they kick out the lower levels, I wouldn't have enough students to even run an afterschool class.
