I'm going to be renewing my visa in Feb/March of next year, an as far as i can tell these are the dcuments that are needed after Jan 1st 2011
Copy of original degree verified by Korean Embassy in UK or by the KCUE (http://english.kcue.or.kr/) - Applications must be made by employer not by individuals
Criminal Background Check - Can be a subject access check which can be only done in UK or Disclosure Scotland which can be done online and is quicker - both of these need to be verified by the Korean Embassy in Seoul, costs about 90,000 won and takes 2 days.
Health Check - can only be done at an immigration approved hospital
Am I missing anything? I am also wondering about the criminal check, i will have left Korea for less than 3 months when renewal tim comes around, so do i still have to submit a criminal back ground check?
I am hoping the mods will make this a sticky, so if you are brit and have any additional info or experience with these new regulations. |
