I moved house over the summer, so my address has changed and is no longer the same as the one stated on my ARC. Do I need to take my sorry arse all the way over to the immigration office to change this, or can it be done over the phone? |

Phone, no. But neighborhood (gu) offices also provide this service.
You just fill in a simple form with your new address & they write your new address on the back of your ARC. Easy & free. |

Yes, as schwa said, go to your gu office. It's so much faster and easier. |

Thanks for the heads up. Do you think they'll let my wife do it for me? I don't work close to home and I don't know if my school will let me leave early. |

Maybe. It seems like a pretty relaxed procedure. Phone & ask. |

You need to do it within 2 weeks to avoid the possibility of a fine and/or future problems getting an F5 visa... |
