Just found out about this. My visa is up september 28th (and job ends october 4th).

Unfortunately Gwangju immi seems insistent that i also need my CRC and apostille. For obvious reasons this is a huge issue (6 weeks minimum which i clearly wont have time to do). So i have about 4 questions:

1. Where can i get docs apostilled in korea, and how do i go about it?
2. Can someone tell me what i need to get a simple work visa extension? I have to do this anyway, but it might also be able to buy me some time.
3. I'm pretty sure that gwangju have their info wrong and i dont need a CRC until jan 1st. Im right, right?
4. If the worst comes to the worst, anyone got a job in japan?

The legislation states that after Jan 1st you need an apostilled National CRC.
Until then a local or state chck is sufficient.

Problem is recruiters and individual immigration agents making up their own rules, or oblivious of the right ones.

Which docs? and what nationality are you?

I believe the KCUE may be able to notarise your diploma at least (although takes up to a month I hear). However it then requires an apostille, which you have to get from your home country. If done by post, this can take well over a month. If you go in person to the offices, maybe have it done in a day.
