I believe it's all legit. If you study for for 42 months straight yes, but you've go to be really gung-ho. Typically a bachelors takes 32 months of study and a master an additional 16 months for a total of 48 months. Which usually means 6 or more years. Take course during the summers and you can cut down the time by a lot. I've personally seen one really motivated classmate get his PhD in 5 years. He is kind of mentally unstable, but a genius.

Apparently Tablo is a bright guy with a supposed IQ of 150. And suffers from bouts of depression, which is common among bright people. Also when they took a small news crew to Stanford it all checked out.

I wonder why having a degree is such big deal in Korea? Who cares if he has a degree or not, or even if he lied about it. It's not like he is a doctor or doing something that might be dangerous to anyone else.

That's really impressive. I imagine he brought in a bunch of APs to take care of general ed. requirements. I triple majored in four years. I finished my first major in two years and took only a couple summer school classes one summer, so I suppose his feat is entirely doable if you were to load up year round. To finish both his BA/MA in under four years involves a great deal of discipline and dedication.

That makes sense, considering he attended a series of private schools both in Canada and Korea. IB/AP, but most people I've known don't use them for credit because they want to boost their GPA to get into their desired program.

I was gonna say it was impossible and that he's for sure faking it, but since people have mentioned how bright he is and schools that he's attended various private schools, I've decided to withdraw my statement. What did he major in anyway?

Whilst it would suck if he did lie about it, you thankfully don't need a degree to rap. Heck, a lot of us are surprised when we find out that a rapper WENT to college/university in North America. Though I imagine it must be important if you want to get into producing, etc.

I suppose anything is possible.
I know a guy who has 3 PhD's....before he was 24.
Now he is a genius!
But a BA and MA in 3 years....that's hard work!

The BA could be done in about 18-24 months, and the MA could be done in 12-18 months. If he took lots of AP/IB/college credit courses in HS which I read that he did, the BA would be simple to finish in about 18 months. Then the MA could be done in the same time.

Seriously, I could have finished my BA in t 2.5 years if I had really tried, but I wanted to enjoy college a bit.

Besides, the guy has had his college show all the correct docs and prove that he did it. Why do you need to cast doubt like all the imbecile Korean netizens that are denying this is possible?

Who is casting doubt? Not me. I think it's pretty impressive...and very difficult to do.
