|
|
Hello all,
I recently inherited a new class. They want to do listening/comprehension practice using news reports and phone call dialogues.
Youtube, bbc.com, and the such are useful. However, I want to find wave or mp3 files to bring to class, as internet connections can be unstable. I want to save them on a USB stick.
Does anyone know a good source for this kind of thing? |

Download YouTube Downloader, convert file to wmv and save to usb.
Download at: http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/
YouTube news search: type in AP or Reuters and you will discover thousands of short news clips. |

Your best source is Sean's Breaking News English. Scroll to the bottom and you'll get his other sites. Most have audio, clear and comprehensible. Right click and "save as" the mp3s.
You can also use the karaoke files or the stuff on the listening page of EFL classroom 2.0.
Cheers,
DD

If you have Real Player installed (it's free) you can download Youtube videos. |
