Anyone seen a decent place to buy minerals and vitamins (not just vitamin c) specifically zinc and fiber supplements? I know I can order them online, but has anyone has ever seen them on sale anywhere, besides GNC on the base;I don;t need the overpriced GNC stuff. |

I've only ever found GNC Zinc. (I have my stuff sent from home as I couldn't be bothered scouring Seoul for simple things.) |

I usually shop at Costco and GNC. Other than that, you may have to have them mailed to you. Vitamins are outrageously expensive in Korea. |

Do you know Namdemun Market? There's a building (not shopfront, actual multi-floor big building) where all the camera selling guys are (technically not all, because there are stores along the main drag adjoining Namdemun, NOT those guys). On that same floor as the camera sellers (one floor down from ground level) are sellers that have vitamins and cheap, cheaper than the usual grey market place at Namdemun. Instead of placed on shelves there are bargain sprawl, dig thru, flats with layers of bottles of supplements.
It's a little tough to direct you but there's an Alpha Stationery store at Namdemun. Standing out front of that, back to the the Alpha, and looking up the alley which goes past the candy shop on the corner, walking that alley, passing appliance seller shopfronts and, on the right, are doors leading down steps to the subground level in the building and you're there.
Haggle, like take an interest in one bottle, holding off expressing interest in other things you want there. Then get around to a deal price for a group of things. Some may be close to expired point that out. |

www.iherb.com - delivery to korea is $4 for up to 3 pounds or $80. They stock lots of the major brands at great prices. Delivery to korea is around 6 to 10 days. I order 4 parcels a month and never got stopped once by customs. Hope this helps. |

Thanks, everyone. All info is greatly appreciated. I think the iberb.com site looks very good, so I might try that. A hell of a lot cheaper than anything seen here on the US bases. |
