...have to come from the state in which you graduated, or anything tricky like that?
This is for Americans. Also, I'm trying to get a job before the end of the year, so I'm not talking about the national criminal background check.
Help is appreciated. |

I believe most people just get one from where ever is easiest...
Technically, you are supposed to get one from any/every state you have lived in for more than six months (I think it�s six months). You only need an apostille for the state you currently live in. |

Having done 2 state checks and 2 FBI checks, I'd go for the FBI ones. It's much easier. They actually know what they're doing and you don't have to call and explain to them, repeatedly, What an apostillise actually is. I kid you not, the State of IL still doesn't get it. |
