| I'll be spending New Year in Tokyo, and I'm wondering how soon should I buy airline tickets. Where can I get a good deal on tickets? Also, are there any visa requirements/fees for US citizens? Thanks! |

Tickets = start looking now.
ANA often has some good deals (but currently showing about 500k won return and may not get much better as it is during peak travel season).

You get a 90 day visa waiver stamp on arrival as long as you have a ticket out of Japan within that 90 days.
