I wrote a while ago about disabling security on vista which meandered off into a how do I change Korean vista to English thread.

Just thought I'd update that as I know everyone is just hanging out to see how I went......

Anyway I downloaded a program called Vistalizator from www.froggie.sk/ & now have a computer with menus & pop-ups that I can actually read.
Easy & effective.

Thought I'd share in case there are others in the same boat.

Great find! Very helpful to many people here. You should think about putting this link in the sticky at the top...maybe in the "Useful websites"...

I started using it recently (after reading the last thread). It's excellent!

I have it downloaded on to my memory stick - I'll have to try it out soon. I have a Fujitsu Lifebook that I bought in Yongsan at the end of my previous stint in Korea. It has Korean Vista on it. Quite frustrating.

When using Vistalizator, is it easy to switch back and forth between English and Korean (my wife is Korean)?

Never tried it as my wife is not Korean but it should be easy enough - there's a whole list of languages & you just click the option you want if I remember correctly.

OK. I've installed it now. Took a while, but my laptop now speaks English. Fantastic.

Do you think I can install it in my students?
