Hey All,
A while back a remember there being (frequently changing) minimum time requirements on an E-2 before immi would allow a teacher to transfer it (with LOR and supporting docs) to another sponsoring school. Anyone know what that time frame is, if it still exists?

Typically 6 months unless there are extenuating circumstances (like the school going bankrupt or closing).
If you have a formal claim against your school with the labor board k-immi will usually allow you to change employers as well without worrying about the 6 month mark.
1) If you just quit cause your job sucks - then 6 months and a LOR
OR
2) leave, hand in your ARC to cancel your visa, return and begin the visa process all over again from scratch.
