It's true. Just look at the lead story on New Zealand's TV3 news this evening. I shudder to think what kind of country I come from.

It takes a few moments to load. Watch it and weep.
Note: The link rolls over to the current evening's news each night so it will be out of date by tomorrow.

How did Somalia not make it on the top 5?
Oh yeah, no police. |

There are so many pickpockets and no real population outside the Swiss Guard.
That's per capita. Somalia has to be #1.

I heard recently that Mexico became the most dangerous country in the world.
But maybe that came from CNN so it doesn't count sorry! |

In New Zealand schools the teachers send children home with notes containing the forged signature of politicians! It's just beyond forgiveness. I hang my head in shame.
Incidentally did anyone watch the whole news? The double murderer who has just been released looks like the most placid guy ever. |

New Zealand has always been a high crime rate country.
but at the same time it can be a safe and nice place to live..
Domestic violence, gangs, murders, bashings, robberies, drugs, you name it.. it happens all over the island... New Zealand has a huge poor class! doll bludgers and low income familes, spread out all over the country...
New Zealand is an expensive country to live.. so they only focus on the middle class and rich.. the rest are left to the dogs!
4.5 million people! half of them are on social welfare probably!
not to mention the racism in new zealand is terrible too...
so much for the Paradise status it once use to have...still has it with marketing.. but for those who live there.. they know its a s%#t hole! |

It's a spoof! The lead story on last night's news was about a bunch of school teachers getting in trouble for writing a note to students' parents. Politicians are outraged because these teachers used a ministerial name on the bottom of the letter. Storm in a teacup but it's headline news in NZ. |

Yay, I come in second. Not bad considering America has ten-fold the population. |
