Hello All,
It looks like SK, Samsung, Doosan and Lotte will be playing in the playoffs this coming October.
I'm looking for CONCRETE information on the exact minute tickets go on sale for the first games.
Last year in Busan they sold out in like 25 minutes and crashed a server or two. So please, if you know EXACTLY when the first series tickets go on sale, let me know.
Many Thanks. |

Because they still have many games to play and make up for cancelled games, the date has not been set yet.
Once the whole season is done, all dates will be announced. G-market sells tickets.
First games? I hope you live in Seoul. Likely it wil be Doosan vs Lotte. I hope for Lotte to be eliminated fast. |

I could just never pull for teams named after corporations. "Hey honey, the Samsung v. Lotte game is on tonight." Intriguing stuff there. It would be like having the Starbucks Seahawks against the GMC Lions or something. Just not the same. |

At least it's honest. The NY Mets play at Citi Field. Don't the Rockies play at Coors Stadium or something?

Corporate naming has been going on for years, with stadiums and such. Lancaster Park in Christchurch was named after Jade software, and now its named after an insurance company. Soccer and rugby teams wear logos on their shirts.
I find in Asia though, its taken to another level. Several Japanese teams and the Korean teams are named after companies. I totally agree that rooting for a company gets kind of weird. It'd be like going to to see the BNZ Crusaders or the Sony Yankees or whatever. There isn't any city or provicial pride associated with it. Aside from the Twins (very original, by the way ) and the Lions I can't keep track of where the other teams play. |
