|
|
I am making a trip to Sokcho with a few others for Chuseok and I was hoping someone could recommend a good place to stay near the beach. I have stayed in a few places near Sorak mt, but those are a little far from the beach. Also, I have stayed in a few of the po-dunk love motels near the beach and i wasnt too impressed.
Any suggestions? Phone number would be awesome! |

When I went to Sokcho in the summer I tried to stay at this hostel, but it was all booked up. The pictures looked really cool, check out the website:

Depending on how long you are staying in Sokcho, some other recommendations besides Sokcho beach are to go to Noksan beach...it's about a 20-30 minute cab ride from Sokcho, it's bigger, cleaner and there's more people there than Sokcho beach. Also, what are your plans in Sokcho?? There's not much to do besides hiking, so if you have time check out Gyeongpo Beach, in Gangneang. The water is clean, clear, and there's a party on the beach all day and night long!! It's an hour bus ride from Sokcho (or if you are at Noksan beach, the terminal is a 5 minute walk away from the beach).
Have fun!! |

Hmmm I don't know what else to tell you.....I stayed there for only 1 night and my friend and I stayed at a Jimjilbang. The owner was really nice and kept our bags at the front desk for us while we did stuff during the day. Otherwise, I think you might be stuck at a love motel |

I was looking more for something that 5 or so people could stay in comfortably, like a pension or similar. Love motels are great and all, but i dont want to be in one for 4-5 days with 5-6 people! |
