Folks,

I'm looking for a good conversation book with little or no focus on writing. I just got a couple of Kindy kids who read and speak and at a fairly high level, but their moms want to stay away from a writing programme.

Thanks

Side by side is too repetitive and low for these kids.

I'm looking for something with interesting topics for the little ones.

I'll check the other one out though.

Thanks for the advice!

Check out the Children's Talk series. I use it for my 1st-graders, but I think it would work for you. All it has is topics/questions - no writing or listening. Each unit focuses on a different thing. For instance, one unit may be all questions about "How often" you do something. It's really pretty basic, and it gets them talking. And their answers only have to be as elaborate as you want them to be.

Thanks! Who is the publisher? Do you happen to have an ISBN?

As promised:

New Children's Talk 1,2,3

Publisher - LIS Korea

ISBN (Children's Talk 1) - 89-86297-61-2

If you follow this link to the publisher's website, they've scanned some sample pages from each book:
