Is there any kind of US military establishment in Seongnam? If yes, then where exactly is it? |

Well, the US Army Garrison Yongsan has its golf course in Seongnam. That's all I can remember for US military facilities there. Why do you ask? |

2-2 Aviation and a few extra support units in K-16, a.k.a. Seoul Air Base, sharing facilities with ROKAF 15th Composite Wing.
And, no, just go to a gym or find a field/country club/etc. in your CIVILIAN neighborhood. |

If you have a friend who's part of the US military establishment (Servicemember, DOD civilian, military contractor, or dependent family members), they can sponsor you onto the base and you can pay the high greens fees for non-SOFA personnel. You'll also find that golf courses aren't as plentiful in Korea as they are in other countries, nor are they cheap. |

It's K-16 and no non-SOFA affiliated person is allowed there unless, as CC had mentioned, is sponsored and escorted by a SOFA affiliated person.
However, the golf course is available at a VERY steep greens fee. |

Pocheon alone has over 20 golf courses. None are particularly nice and they're all astronomically priced, but I'd say there are a huge number of "CCs" in Korea. |
